You Are Made for This

For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

Esther 4:14

It’s easy to look around each day and notice greatness everywhere. Inventions and discoveries surround us—ideas someone once carried in their heart and brought to life. These creations become spaces where others gather, share, and benefit.

Yet personally, it can feel hard to see that same greatness in our own lives. When we look around, what we do may seem small or ordinary. Our days feel routine—taking out the trash, going to work, washing the dishes, and going to sleep. But the truth is, there is more within your life than you realize. It begins with finding contentment right where you are. This is the place God has positioned you to be, the space where He calls you to share His good news. You were fearfully made in His image, created to flourish right where you stand.

You were made with purpose, and your life contributes to this journey in meaningful ways. Every smile, every loving hug, and every moment of sharing the gospel carries great value. It’s not about how much you accomplish, but how willing you are to be available. This is the walk of obedience. So let us realign our hearts and believe the truth—we are made for this.

Questions for Reflection

1.  Where in my everyday life might God be inviting me to see purpose instead of routine?

2. How can I be more available to walk in obedience and share God’s love right where He has placed

me?

Prayer

Dear God,

Give us hearts that remain rooted where You have placed us. Help us not grow weary or seek fulfillment in the pursuits of others that do not honor You. Teach us to lean not on our own understanding, but to trust who You have called us to be. We love You and thank You for creating us for such a time as this. In Jesus’ name, amen.
