Breaking Free from Stagnation

Hey Woman of Truth,
I’ve been experiencing stagnancy for quite a while now. It felt like it had a tight grip on every area of my life. Every day, I wanted to press play, but I remained stuck on pause.
The stagnancy I was experiencing felt like it was here for the long haul—at least, that’s what I thought.
So, I knew it was time to take action. I had to stop and ask myself, What’s wrong?
I needed to evaluate why I was feeling stuck in my life.
Graciously, I found the culprit: fear.
Yes, that word I don’t like to be associated with, but somehow, it found me and covered me without my consent.
I don’t remember signing a contract saying, “Here, you can have my life.” But subconsciously, as God’s daughter, we sometimes allow fear, grief, and disappointment to take hold without realizing it. We unknowingly sign off on letting fear dictate what we can and cannot do.
I knew I wanted out.
If you feel this way…
Experiencing stagnancy in your life, I invite you to join me in telling fear where to go. When we close the door on fear, we take back our freedom and begin walking in the purpose God has for us. It doesn’t mean our nerves won’t sometimes get the best of us, but we refuse to let fear control us any longer.
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and a sound mind
(2 Timothy 1:7).
So, let’s do the best thing for ourselves as Women of Truth: say no to what keeps us bound. Start making that call, send off that application, and step forward. By doing so, you are telling fear, You are not bigger than the words God has spoken over me.
This is your weekly reminder. I’m checking in on you because I care. I want to see you win.
Here’s a scripture to lift you up and keep fear far from you: "To rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fear."— Luke 1:74
His servant,
Regina
